Deductible
This is the fixed amount you must pay out-of-pocket for vet bills before your insurance starts to cover the remaining costs. For example, if your deductible is $200, you’ll need to cover the first $200 of eligible expenses before reimbursement begins.
Reimbursement percentage
Once your deductible is met, Kanguro will reimburse you a set percentage of eligible vet bills. For example, if your reimbursement rate is 80%, Kanguro will cover 80% of your vet bills, and you’ll pay the remaining 20%.
Annual Limit
This is the maximum amount Kanguro will reimburse for eligible expenses in a policy year. For instance, if your annual limit is $10,000, Kanguro will cover up to $10,000 in claims for that year.

Kanguro needs to use some of your personal data in order to provide you with the best services. If you’re no longer interested in being affiliated with Kanguro, simply close your account and all of your personal data will be deleted right away
I referred a friend. When will I get my reward?
Remember, you’ll only get a reward if your referral buys a policy. Once this happens, it can take up to 24 hours until you receive the Amazon gift card by email. If it’s a holiday or a weekend, the Amazon Gift Card will be delivered in the next business day.
Does renters insurance cover pets?
Renters insurance generally covers pet-related incidents under its liability coverage. For instance, if your pet injures someone or damages something in someone else’s property, the policy may help cover associated costs. However, damage caused by the pet in the rental unit itself is not covered. Yes! You can add up to 5 pets to the policy.
What is renters insurance and how does it work?
Renters insurance is specifically designed for tenants who want to cover their personal belongings, liabilities and additional living expenses they might be responsible in the event that their rental unit gets damaged. It usually protects against losses from events like theft, fire, and certain natural disasters, but typically excludes floods, earthquakes, and hurricanes.
What happens to the policy money that I isn’t used to pay claims?

When you buy your policy, you’ll get the option to donate part of the premium you don’t use toward the organization of your choice. Whether it’s climate change, animal shelters, or Hispanic community organizations, you get to decide exactly where the extra money goes.
How does the referral program work?
There are two ways to refer people to Kanguro: Open your app and select the Get a $25 Amazon Gift Card with Our Referral Program option. Once you get a referral, you can share it with any of your friends. Call us directly and give us the contact information of whoever you want to refer. Once the person you refer purchases a policy, you’ll get a reward through email
